Meet The HILDA AMANKWAA OBIRI's Family

RAISING A WONDER CHILD IN THIS PART OF OUR COUNTRY IS NOT EASY AT ALL, I NEED SUPPORT IN PAYING FOR SPEECH THERAPY AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY. I USE TO TAKE HIM FOR THERAPY SESSIONS IN CAPE COAST (A DIFFERENT REGION) SINCE THE REGIONAL HOSPITAL CLOSER TO ME DOES NOT HAVE SPEECH THERAPIST. I RESORTED TO PRIVATE BUT THE CHARGE IS TOO MUCH, I HAVE STOP BECAUSE I CAANOT AFFORD IT ANY LONGER. DIFFICULT TO GET AFFORDABLE WHO ARE WILLING TO TAKE HIM. HIS CURRENT SCHOOL HAS NOW BECOME EXPENSIVE AND WE ARE FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO PAY. MY HUSBAND HAS LOST HIS JOB. I SUPPORT IN MONETARY FORM TO SUPPORT IN THERAPY SESSIONS AND ALSO MAINTAIN HIM IN HIS CURRENT SCHOOL OR GET A BETTER ONE FOR HIM.

My son's name is Tornye, 7yrs old, non-verbal, and austistic. The challenges in raising a special need child in this part of the world is never-ending, especially, being single mom with no support system. In this festive season, receiving support in the form of play toys, or medication or feeding, or clothing for Tornye, will be such a blessing for us. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Meet The Sean-Jayden Aryeh's Family

When Sean turned 3 years, my husband and I came to full awareness that Sean, our second of three boys was on the spectrum. Although as his mother I noticed earlier that his development was slower compared to my eldest child, the diagnoses took a toll on me as at the time I was nursing a pre-term child. The diagnoses coupled with other postpartum challenges drove me into depression/psychosis. However we gradually embraced it. Nurturing Sean has been the toughest responsibility in our lives as access to speech therapy and all other therapies are not available in Tarkwa, where we live. Sean is very sensitive and nutrition proves challenging. In order not to stress him, we initially resorted to engaging a therapist to travel some 304km from Accra to Tarkwa to attend to him weekly. Unfortunately this arrangement proved unsustainable and expensive as we also had to spend on his medication as well as special diets. Eventually we resorted to home therapies. Sean is an incredibly intelligent chap, although he was non verbal from the start, he has gradually improved and has a great love for books and mathematics. At age 6, he can do the multiplication table to 12 and tries reading although we can barely hold a conversation with him. As a family we are trying every means in our power to provide him with the needed medical care as well as help him to be independent and harness his talents. It is a tough journey, but we continue to hope for the best. My name is Priscilla and I appreciate your thoughtfulness to supporting my family๐Ÿ™โ™ฅ๏ธ

Weโ€™re a family of six; four kids and my husband and l. The cost of education for wonder kids in Ghana is very expensive. Most of the money we earn goes into funding the education of our wonder child. With both my husband and l being teachers, it becomes very challenging to cater for the needs of the other kids and ourselves most times. Weโ€™ll be grateful if you can bless our family with any token God lays upon your heart. Thank you and God bless you richly.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Meet The Efia Adofoahwaa's Family

My wonder child is Nana Kwame Barima Boakye-Yiadom. He just turned 9yrs old. He gives the best hugs and lives life on his own terms. He has taught us to understand what it means to be truly gifted and special. The challenges for me raising him is the high cost of services such speech, Occupational Therapy and special education to help meet his needs. Unfortunately we are a one income household and meeting these needs have become nearly impossible and have halted for sometime now. This is stalling his progress and bringing out his true potential. I would need support this holiday season to continue paying for these services and some supplements. Also some items such as Epsom salt, essential oils, organic products for the skin and consumption. I know my son is here to serve a great purpose on earth and I have been selected as his mother to get him help him fulfill his purpose. It is my prayer that we will be supported. I would also like to thank you for this incredible kind gesture. We families with wonder children are extremely grateful. Kindly note: Barima my wonder boy is the little one in the pictures. The pictures also has his big brother and myself in glasses.

Outings are scarce due to the noise in the environment and her being uncomfortable. Only one person is employed and we would like to have some money for medications, fun toys and a mini-tablet for Vyne for some pleasure and smile. Thank you in advance for choosing us.

Meet The Irene Ekpu's Family

I'm a single mother raising two beautiful 3-year-old twin girls, Joelyn and Zoelyn, in Kaduna. Zoelyn is my special wonder child who has autism and is nonverbal. My baby girl is a fighter. She was born prematurely weighing only 1.5kg, she was so little, compared to her sister, and I thought I was going to lose her. But she fought through it all, and now she weighs more than her sister and is doing better physically. Still, raising a nonverbal child with autism comes with challenges that many don't see. She needs specialized therapy - speech therapy to help her communicate and occupational therapy to support her development. I've been trying to find ways to help her communicate. I want to get her learning cards with images of everyday things, hoping they'll help her express what she needs and wants. Every small step toward communication would mean so much. One of Zoelyn's behaviors is that she chews on things, especially her clothes. Most of what she wears has holes or is torn because of this. Since I've been out of work since April, I haven't been able to replace them. She also outgrows her shoe sizes so quickly, and I can't keep up. She loves to walk - give her an open space and she'll just go. I'd love to take her to a park where she can walk freely and just be a kid. What worries me most is that I want her to be properly checked by a specialist. I want to make sure my baby girl is okay and getting the right care she needs. But between being unemployed and relying on help from my mother and siblings just to get by, affording proper medical care and therapy has been nearly impossible. The holiday season makes everything harder. I want both my girls to experience the joy they deserve, but right now I'm struggling with the basics - clothes for Zoelyn, shoes that fit, the learning tools she needs, and most importantly, getting her the medical attention and therapy that could help her thrive. Despite everything, my girls bring me joy every single day. Zoelyn is a fighter, and I'm fighting alongside her to give both my daughters the best life possible. Any support from a sponsor would truly be a blessing for our little family.
